Shea Hydration Mask has been upgraded and has a new name: Super Skin Food Mask

We are constantly evolving and if we see that we have a product that can be upgraded, of course we do! We have now re-launched our amazing moisturizing mask, Shea Hydration Mask, and it is now called Super Skin Food Mask. The face mask still has all its good properties, the great apple scent, the delicate green color and the velvety texture. But we have also given it three major upgrades:

1. Now with twice as much hyaluronic acid!

Hyaluronic acid increases moisture in the skin. And for those of you who are a little unsure of what hyaluronic acid actually is, it is a type of carbohydrate, which the body also produces itself, to maintain healthy and hydrated skin, elasticity in connective tissue, flexible joints, moist eyes and much more. Hyaluronic acid has a unique ability to bind and retain water molecules. Therefore, it is only natural that we also boost our moisturizing mask with twice as much hyaluronic acid, so that it now provides twice as much moisture!

2. Even more effective bio-retinol

We have developed a unique way to break down sea buckthorn extract and rosehip extract molecules. Now the skin can absorb the nutrients much more easily and is able to convert carotene into vitamin A (retinol) in the skin even more efficiently. Simply put, our bio-retinol is more effective than ever before! You get to enjoy all the good things retinol is known for: Increasing collagen and elastin in the skin, providing faster cell renewal, smoother skin and skin tone and minimizing fine lines and pores.

3. Flaxseed extract, a Nordic superfood!

We already produce our own flaxseed oil which is used in several of our products. There is a lot of 'dregs' and residue left after cold pressing the oil. These residues are normally just thrown in the food waste. But what many people don't know is that there are lots of fantastic nutrients in the residues! So here we have reused, or 'up-cycled', and made flaxseed extract from these residues after the oil pressing. This is sustainable and environmentally friendly production of the raw material AND we get a fantastic extract in return - yes, actually a Nordic superfood!

Flaxseed extract is a super anti-inflammatory ingredient, and soothes the skin immediately. Flaxseed soothes irritated, itchy skin, eczema and sensitive skin. It also has high levels of antioxidants that fight premature skin aging. In addition, it retains moisture in the skin well and prevents moisture loss.
