The challenge
We look at all opportunities for improvement and not all of them are necessarily that big. Some of our customers noticed that there was oil left around the neck of our new 28ml bottles. We know that you know that these drops are precious, that they do better on the skin than on the outside of the bottle. We thought about this for a long time, but didn't see an obvious solution... not right away.
The solution
Our new bottles now come with a small extra part. It's a small plastic part that sits at the top of the bottle neck. It has two functions:
1. It provides a tighter connection between the pipette and the bottle, ensuring an extra good seal and the bottle is then completely sealed.
2. It draws off extra oil that is on the outside of the glass pipette so that it does not run down the outside of the bottle.
Small but smart!
