Nordique is a lifestyle blog that focuses on life here in Scandinavia. They contacted me because they thought it sounded exciting to have Norwegian-produced skincare. They have now included 3 of our natural oils in the Nordique online store and they have had an interview with me. The interview was in English, but I have translated it into Norwegian here:

We chatted with founder and CEO Marina Engervik, about the scope, her inspiration and of course, beautiful Norway.
Who is behind Marina Miracle? Tell us a little more about yourself!
I grew up in Båtsfjord, a small town in Northern Norway. I am 28 years old and live with my husband in Oslo. We enjoy seeing the world together, and we love hiking and skiing, cooking dinner with friends or just relaxing on the couch with a big glass of red wine. I have always had a passion for skincare and cosmetics, which is why I love my job!
What inspired you to start Marina Miracle?
I had serious skin problems and allergies after using products with synthetic chemicals. I also have atopic eczema and very sensitive skin. I tried all kinds of treatments, but nothing worked, so I made my own "medicine". My skin was healed and I started making my product for friends and their skin got better too, and they were so happy! Word spread and people started asking me about the "miracle oil". It made me think that I could help even more people with their skin if I started my own brand. Long story short: I quit my job and started Marina Miracle.
Tell us more about your facial oils that we have available here at Nordique - How do these work? What is unique about these products?
These face oils are all 100% natural and made in Norway with Ecocert and Debio certified organic ingredients. Herbal Face Oil and Acne Fight Serum are both formulated with unique Scandinavian herbs, pure oils, vitamins and plant juices. They are both balancing on the skin and will provide the skin with deeper moisture in the most effective way. The skin is refreshed and balanced with a healthy glow. Herbal Face Oil is for those with more dry to combination skin and Acne Fight Serum is for oily skin.
Argan Night Serum is actually both a serum and a facial oil because it has several active ingredients such as AHA fruit acid, vitamins B, C and E and Aloe Vera juice. These active ingredients will exfoliate and even out the skin tone while helping to bring apricot, argan and evening primrose oils deeper into the skin. The result is super soft, hydrated skin with a fantastic glow!
How are you inspired by the surroundings of beautiful Norway? Tell us more about how it influences your products?
I love all four seasons and the charm of each one. I love winter because then I can ski in our beautiful mountains, and in the summer I can go hiking and sleep in a tent in beautiful surroundings. When I am outside I get a feeling of peace and well-being.
What are your favorite aspects of life in Scandinavia?
The beautiful nature and the fresh air. The cold winters illuminated by the northern lights and the long, sunny days in the summer.
What is your TOP recommendation for a first-time visitor to Norway?
Don't waste your time in the cities! We have several great museums, art and culture and good food, but this is not unique from my point of view. What I think is unique are the high mountains and nature. Invest in some good hiking shoes, go on a mountain hike and make your holiday in Norway an experience you will never forget :)
