My name is Helena and I am a guest blogger at Marina Miracle. I am very passionate about health and diet and of course natural skin care! Here is a recipe for my super smoothie that I usually make for breakfast that gives me energy throughout the day (it is also great for the skin!)
What's so good about smoothies?
There are millions of different smoothie recipes. Why are smoothies so good? (Apart from the fact that they are incredibly delicious and easy to make.)
Yes, with the right ingredients you can give yourself and your body a tasty and healthy meal that is packed with vitamins, nutrients, fatty acids and antioxidants! Which is both good for your health and for maintaining beautiful and healthy skin.

Ingredients
1 banana
1/2 apple
1 small bunch of spinach
4-5 frozen strawberries
6-7 raspberries
4-5 pieces frozen papaya/pineapple/mango
1/2 lemon (juice)
2 tsp goji berries (Superfood! It contains 500 times more vitamin C than oranges, three times more iron than spinach and 6 times more beta-carotene than carrots!)
2-3 Brazil nuts
2-3 almonds
2 tsp seed mix (sesame seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds)
1 tablespoon rosehip powder (optional)
1 teaspoon cranberry powder (optional)
1 tsp quinoa
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons coconut oil
1 pinch of turmeric
1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
1 cup water
Mix all ingredients in a blender, top with almond milk and water.
Rosehip powder and cranberry powder can be replaced with spirulina or another powder you like. If you are allergic to nuts/seeds you can replace these with e.g. oatmeal or half an avocado to get the healthy fatty acids.
Happy blending! :)
