Jan Erik is Hilde Christina's loyal tester. He often tests products in collaboration with her and writes honest and comprehensive reviews. Now Jan Erik has tested our two newly launched products made for men: Active Face Oil and Reload Night Serum .
Jan Erik begins the review by saying that he has always been skeptical of oils because he often experiences acne breakouts when using oil products, something he recently experienced with another brand. But Jan Erik had a completely different experience with Marina Miracle products for men.
Jan Erik starts with the review for Active Face Oil:

'' The design of the product is very “manly” with a black bottle with white writing and the product itself comes out of the container using a dropper. The recommended amount is 4-6 drops depending on how much product is absorbed into the skin. The oil can replace cream or possibly be used as a serum...
"First I cleanse my skin, then apply toner and apply about five drops – this is the amount I have found to be optimal for my skin. If I am using the oil as a serum I pat it in lightly, but if I am going to use it alone I massage it in completely."
As mentioned earlier, Jan Erik experienced an acne breakout from another brand before he started testing our products. Jan Erik goes on to talk about Active Face Oil:
'' The oil is safe for acne prone skin, hasn't caused me to break out and even though it is active it has only stimulated my skin positively and I noticed a big improvement in the breakout I had on my neck and neck. If I use the oil in the evening I wake up with a nice glow and if I skip using the oil I can actually see a difference. It doesn't give a typical “oil face”, by that I mean it absorbs and doesn't lie like a layer on top of the skin and make the face look oily.''
Jan Erik thinks Active Face Oil provides good moisture and that the oil helps with stressed skin. And we got a Full Score!
The review continues with Reload Night Serum. He writes:

'' The product has a very “manly” smell with a prominent hint of tea tree oil, but this disappears quickly. The oil and the packaging both look and smell almost identical to what Active Face Oil does, but the effect is still quite different.
The oil is applied in the evening and can either be used alone or as a serum. I usually choose to use the serum under night cream, or a moisturizing mask, depending on what is easiest to reach for. The result is somewhat more glow than what Active Fail Oil does, which I suspect is the effect of the AHA acid in the oil that helps remove dead skin cells.''
Jan Erik concludes the review with these words:
''Regardless, these are two oils (or serums) that come in handy in the winter when dry air often creates a huge imbalance in the skin. If you are a man, or think your father, boyfriend or friend deserves some attention, these oils are recommended. I rarely recommend products made for men simply because I don't think many of these products are good compared to what is on the market for unisex products, but these definitely meet the standard as I see it.
