Wondering what skin type you have? Skin type is genetic, so there's not much you can do to change your skin type. But you can use products that help your skin stay healthy regardless of your skin type. External factors like weather, cold, sun, health and age will affect your skin condition. In the course of a year, you can easily go from oily skin in the summer to dry skin in the winter. Lifestyle and situation can change and then the condition of your skin can also change.
Here are the 5 most common skin types , what causes the skin types and which of our products you can use for which skin types.
1 Normal skin

Normal skin has an even skin tone , is soft and has no impurities. Normal skin has a clear and smooth surface that is neither oily nor dry. The skin glows because one has good health and good blood circulation.
Women may experience occasional acne just before menstruation due to increased hormonal activity, which makes the sebaceous glands active. The acne quickly disappears after menstruation.
If you are lucky enough to have a normal skin type, you need to take good care of your skin by regularly moisturizing and conditioning it. Failure to do so can lead to signs of aging and wrinkles or other skin problems.
MARINA MIRACLE FOR NORMAL SKIN

♦ Use our light and moisturizing facial oil every day.
♦ Use our exfoliating night serum to maintain skin moisture and bring the nutrients from the pure oils deeper into the skin.
♦ Protect your skin from the sun and use sunscreen every day!
2 Dry skin

Dry skin has low levels of sebum and is often sensitive. The skin is dehydrated because it has an inability to retain moisture. Dry skin usually feels very tight and is uncomfortable and sometimes itchy. In extremely dry skin, the skin will crack and flake.
Dry skin is aggravated by wind and weather changes, extreme temperatures and air conditioning. With dry skin, the skin looks sallow and grey. Lines can appear around the eyes and mouth.
CAUSES OF DRY SKIN
♦ The oil glands in the skin do not produce sufficient lubrication on the skin and the skin becomes dehydrated.
♦ Skin is exposed to the weather, especially in winter. Read more about winter skin care.
♦ Dry skin may be caused by a genetic condition.
♦ Skin diseases such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis or seborrhea cause dry skin.
MARINA MIRACLE FOR DRY SKIN

♦ Be sure to use Argan Night Serum which contains apricot, evening primrose and argan which are highly nutritious oils. The fruit acid will smooth the skin without drying it out because it helps the oils penetrate deeper into the skin.
♦ Use nourishing moisturizing masks at least once a week.
♦ Always use a good sunscreen if you are out in the sun!
♦ Evening primrose oil supplements are beneficial for the skin and contain gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid known to strengthen skin cells and increase skin moisture. Also recommended for those with dry skin due to atopic eczema. Read more about evening primrose oil for eczema
3 Oily skin

Oily skin is shiny, thick and often has large pores. Acne and blackheads are common with oily skin. Oily skin is caused by the oil-producing sebaceous glands being overactive and producing more oil than is necessary. The oil oozes out and gives the skin a greasy shine. The pores are enlarged and the skin takes on a rougher appearance. Read more about oily skin
The big advantage of oily skin is that this skin type ages more slowly than other skin types.
CAUSES OF OILY SKIN
♦ It could be heredity, genetically oily skin.
♦ Improper diet.
♦ Hormone levels, pregnancy, and birth control pills can cause oily skin.
♦ Cosmetics that irritate the skin.
♦ Humidity and hot weather can disrupt the balance of the skin.
MARINA MIRACLE FOR OILY SKIN
♦ It is very important to use a good, gentle cleanser twice a day. Avoid harsh products that strip your skin of oil . They can cause a reaction where the oil glands work to compensate for the loss of natural oils, resulting in even more oiliness.
♦ Use a light moisturizer, Acne Fight Serum helps to balance the skin. The oil glands will calm down with regular application of this facial oil.
♦ Use a night serum that exfoliates while helping to provide plenty of moisture without clogging pores . Remember that oily skin is often oily because it has overactive sebaceous glands due to not getting enough moisture. Proper hydration can stop this and the skin will return to normal.
4 Combination skin

Combination skin is a combination of both oily and dry skin . The oily part of the skin is often on the nose, forehead and chin. The dry parts are often on the cheeks, mouth and the areas around the eyes. This skin type is very common and can often feel difficult to care for.
MARINA MIRACLE FOR COMBINATION SKIN
♦ Combination skin must be cleansed morning and evening in a gentle manner.
♦ Facial oil is perfect for combination skin because it creates balance in the skin and helps both the dry and oily areas return to normal.
♦ Our night serum , which contains a little fruit acid, will help your combination skin because it exfoliates while also moisturizing and allowing the oils to work deeper into the skin.
5 Sensitive skin

Sensitive skin is thin and delicate skin. This type of skin reacts quickly to both heat and cold and sunburns easily . The skin is often dry and prone to allergic reactions . Temperature changes, detergents, cosmetics and alcohol used on the skin can cause irritation, leaving the skin red and blotchy.
